Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Dove Cottage, the Grasmere home of poet William Wordsworth. Wander through the Garden-Orchard Wordsworth called ‘the loveliest spot that man hath ever found’.

It was whilst living at Dove Cottage that Wordsworth produced most of his best-loved poems, and Dorothy wrote her fascinating Grasmere journal. In this humble Lake District cottage, you can feel how a unique combination of people and place came together and changed poetry forever.
