About the role
Keswick Museum is looking for a photography volunteer! The main tasks include:
- Handling museum objects
- Photographing museum objects from the Keswick School of Industrial Arts collection
- Digitally organising photographs
- Adding photographs to gallery touchscreen
Skills & Knowledge
You will get the most out of this role if you have attention to detail, and a basic knowledge of using digital cameras and Windows laptops. You will be provided with induction training and will be supported throughout the duration of your volunteering.

Time & availability
This role is a flexible, short term project. It is expected to last for approximately four months, and the hours can be decided depending on your availability.
About the organisation
Keswick Museum & Art Gallery is a fully accredited museum run largely by volunteers. The museum cares for around 20,000 objects in their collection which reflect life in the Keswick area. The museum is also home to a community gallery which showcases the work of local groups & individuals, as well as a rolling programme of events/activities for all ages.
