Kirkgate Arts and Heritage are looking for friendly and engaging bar volunteers to support their events.
Principle tasks include:
- Preparing the bar area, managing stock levels and serving drinks to customers
- Managing the till float
- Taking payment for drinks via cash or card
- Preparing interval drinks
- Cleaning the bar area after an event
This is a great opportunity to gain or improve customer service skills and experience. You will also be able to see performances and attend events across the year.
Skills & Qualities
This role can get quite busy and so being able to stand for long periods of time is required. Some knowledge of bar work would also be beneficial; however full training will be provided.
Dates & Availability
This is a regular volunteering opportunity. Volunteers will be given the option to pick shifts from a rota on a monthly basis. Each shift will last a maximum of 4 hours. We can work flexibly with you to determine what days would be of interest to you.
